We put your physical mailbox in the palm of your hand. Before putting your mail in your mailbox, your mailing center will scan and upload the face or cover of all your mail to your MailGapp account to be viewed in the app. Opening up our app is just like opening up your mailbox, allowing you to parse through all your mail, one by one, to see what you received each day. Enabling push notifications for MailGapp will allow you to be notified as soon as soon as mail has been uploaded to your account and put in your mailbox each day.
MailGapp utilizes optical character recognition and barcode scanning to deliver the most interactive digital information to the palm of your hand. When viewing a single piece of mail, it only takes one click to call the sender, create a contact with all of their information, get directions to the sender’s location, display the results of a Google search, or open up an email to send them. No more searching or manual input is required; MailGapp deconstructs all this information for you in the cloud and delivers it to your mobile device so it can be easily integrated with the other apps on your device.
We are taking the junk out of junk mail and turning it into useful mail that works for you. MailGapp employs a QR code scanner in the cloud to deliver the corresponding link directly to your device. After opening the link and viewing the associated advertisement or offer in MailGapp, you can indicate whether that link is relevant to you or not. All relevant QR code links to special advertisements or offers will be stored in a separate folder and integrated with the maps app on your device so that MailGapp can notify any time you are within a certain radius of a sponsoring company’s location. This facilitates an incredibly easy and convenient way to never forget about valuable savings offers, and gives value to mail that you would previously have discarded without a second look.
MailGapp is designed for the optimal user experience so nearly every single aspect of our app can be manipulated to your preferences. All features can be turned on or off including push notifications, QR code scanning, click to call, email, etc… We are also incorporating sender specific actions that allow the user to set particular rules for mail received from a specific sender. These specific sender actions range anywhere from getting a text notification that you received a certain piece of mail if you need to know as soon as it gets in, an automatic email reply to the sender with a response of the user’s choosing, storing all QR code links from a specific company as relevant, or even sending all mail from a sender straight to the trash.
